Comprised entirely of printed recycled paper – Filipino education policies, Department of Education memoranda, Philippine laws and guidelines for families – stacked, coiled, twisted, and woven together to form a net.

The work examines, comments and criticizes the intertwined relationships between policy, Filipino social values and discourses on employment and the resulting valuation of art education. This participatory art installation explores these complex, layered, and rigid literal and metaphorical structures, and how we can actively challenge them.
